Prakas on Determination of Minimum Wage for Workers/Employees in the Textile, Garment, Footwear, Travel Goods and Bag Industries for 2023
Wednesday 21 September 2022: Representatives of GMAC attended the last meeting of the National Council on Minimum Wage for the second mandate of the second year to decide and set a minimum wage for workers/employees in the textile, garment, footwear, travel goods and bag industries for 2023.
From 1 January 2023, the minimum wage for probationary workers/employees will be set at US$198 (one hundred ninety-eight) per month. After probation, the workers/employees will receive a minimum wage of US$200 (two hundred) per month.
