Mr. Choon Yik Thong, Executive Committee Member of GMAC was elected as Vice Chairman of Garment & Manufacturing Committee of EuroCham

Mr. Choon Yik Thong, Executive Committee Member of GMAC was elected as Vice Chairman of Garment & Manufacturing Committee of EuroCham. The Garment & Manufacturing Committee is a forum for peer-to-peer exchanges. It allows its members to organize industry-focused events. Through this committee, the members can voice their concerns and challenges and shape their recommendations to the Royal Government of Cambodia.

Below are the objectives of the committee:

- Creating an alternative voice that can assist in the development of the Cambodian economy as a whole;

- Promoting a progressive legislation;

- Promoting a sustainable garment industry;

- Organizing public-private sector forums;

- Being a focal point of contact for new European investors and sourcing companies in the sector in Cambodia;

- Developing joint positions and/or jointly engaging in public-private dialogues;

- Organizing professional training series.
